Last night I attended the American Idol concert, and it was amazing. One of the first things we noticed was that we were sitting RIGHT in front of Paris Bennett's Grandma, which was really cool! We talked to her for a little while, and told her to tell Paris Happy Birthday for us, and she told us that we were a lot of fun! She was really sweet, and it was really cool to meet her and the rest of Paris's Family.

We had amazing seats, so the concert was even more fun. Mandisa opened with "I'm Every Women" which was a really fun concert song! Then came Ace, who looked right at me a couple of times, and was a lot better than I expected him to be! I wasn't a big fan on the show, but he was actually really good. Lisa was next, and she sang a couple of songs with the piano, which I thought was really cool. Her voice is amazing! Her duet with Paris was really fun...they had a dance they made up and you could tell they were really good friends! Paris was also a lot of fun, she had everybody dancing and singing along! She is actually from here, so it was kind of cool that she was back here again (on her 18th birthday even!) Bucky was next, and he was okay. He has a pretty good voice, but compared to the rest he was very forgettable! His duet with Kellie was fun though, even if I personally think they were the two least talented there.

I actually got a lot more into Kellie's set then I was expecting to. She had this long speech about how much her life has changed, and how bad her life was before, which I found really annoying. She did wave to me though, so that was cool! Then there was an intermission, and then came Chris. Chris probably had to be one of the best parts of the show for me. He is an amazing performer, and his voice is awesome! Paris's grandma got really into his set also, which was really cute! Chris and Elliott sang a duet which was okay, but I'm just not a big fan of Elliott. He was also kind of forgettable to me.

Afterwards, all of the boys (except Taylor) sang a song together, and that was really cool. Chris and Bucky played guitar, and later Taylor did...it was cool to see that this year a lot of the people can do more than just sing! Katharine's set was really short, but Somewhere Over the Rainbow was absolutely amazing...that was the perfect song for her! Black Horse and the Cherry Tree was really fun, and she tried to get the crowd to sing....actually, a lot of the Idols did throughout the night, but most people didn't know the lyrics, so that didn't go too well! Taylor came down through a side section, and then down through the floor, and everybody went crazy. He really did seem to be everybody's favorite, unlike past years where it was more split.

I would have to say that the loudest cheers of the night were for Chris and Ace though! They sang two songs together at the end, and that was fun, I wish there would have been more of that though! Chris elbowed Katharine in the face, which was pretty funny...she made the greatest facial expression ever! At the end, Chris threw a couple of guitar picks and I ended up getting one, which was SO cool!! He threw it near us, and nobody around us could find it, and then me and one other person saw it at the same time, but I beat them to it!

Overall the concert was a lot of fun. The final four were leagues above everybody else though!! I know most of the tour is over, but if you get the chance to go, I would say do it. It was a lot of fun, and probably my favorite of all of the American Idol Tours!!
