The voting for the American Idol Songwriting Contest is now open! I have only listened to about three of the songs, and to be honest with you, they are not all that much better than the crap we usually get. Maybe some of the ones I haven't listened to are better though! The producers chose the top 20 songs, which are now up on AmericanIdol.com for you to vote on. You have to sign up for an account, and then rate all twenty songs. I don't know how well this American Idol songwriting thing will work out, but it's a cool idea and so hopefully something good comes from it!
