It's getting a little rediculous how many shows are using the American Idol format. The live performing, three judges, america voting, etc. Shows like So You Think You can Dance, America's Got Talent, American Inventor, etc.
Back in my day we had Dance Fever, Star Search and the original judging show the Gong Show.
What do you think? Are there too many reality competition shows milking the Idol format?
