Goodbye to Gina Glocksen

This week on American Idol, we had to say goodbye to Gina Glocksen. While I do think that America got the Bottom three right, the wrong person definitely went home. Forget Sanjaya- I really don't understand why Haley is still in the competition. Her voice isn't that great and she is soooo boring. Gina actually had some personality, even if she wasn't a much better (or worse) singer than Haley.

But I guess people must see something in Haley that I dont, since she is still there...or she is just getting the sympathy vote. I also think Sanjaya should have gone home before Gina, but I don't really want to get into that so I'll just say that at least Sanjaya is very enertaining, which is more than a couple of other contestants can say.

Anyway, back to Gina. I really liked her, even if she has been somewhat disappointing these last couple weeks. I think Gina had a really good voice, but didn't really know how to control it...something she has greatly improved on lately. I think if Gina would have been allowed to stay for just a little bit longer she would have really impressed us by her improvement. I will really miss Gina come Tuesday...this season just isn't really doing anything for me. As long as Jordin (and Melinda and Blake I guess) is still there, I'll keep watching...however if none of them make it into the Finale I will be greatly disappointed in this season of American Idol!

I wish Gina Glocksen the best of luck and I hope that Idol will be able to open some doors for her so she can keep pursuing a singing career!
