Access Hollywood is reporting that Jennifer Lopez will be one of the musical guests on American Idol this year. Jennifer will be appearing on the show on April 11th. Also, Gwen Stefani will apparently be a guest on March 28th. Michael Jackson was also rumored to be on the show this year, but people working for both Idol and Michael have said many times that it is not happening...but they also said that about Prince last year, so who knows anymore? I don't really like having musical guests on the show at all, with the exception of the finale, because that usually means that we don't get group performances, which are my favorite. I think the show was way more focused on the guests that came on last year, when they should have been spending time on the contestants, but maybe that's just me. Anyway, I just wanted to let y'all know that Jennifer Lopez and Gwen Stefani will both be appearing on the show right now, and I will let you know if I find out anymore!
