Congratulations to Jennifer Hudson, who won her first Oscar Sunday night! Jennifer won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress for her portrayal of Effie White in the Movie Dreamgirls. At the show, Jennifer sang a medley from Dreamgirls with Beyonce!

She has also won a Golden Globe and a SAG award for her part in the movie. I am so happy for Jennifer and all of her success! She is supposed to have an album out later this year, so that's exciting! Congratulations to Jennifer Hudson, who won a Golden Globe last night for her role in the movie Dreamgirls. Jennifer won the award for best supporting actress in a musical or comedy. The movie Dreamgirls also won the best musical or comedy award, and the award for best supporting actor.

I haven't gotten a chance to see Dreamgirls yeat, but I am incredibly happy that Jennifer Hudson won the Golden Globe and for all the success she has had after Idol!

After the stellar reviews Jennifer Hudson has gotten for her part in Dreamgirls, Clive Davis has decided to sign her to his record label. Jennifer said that she will begin recordinig in January.
