If you've been wondering what's new with Season 5's country-rocker Bucky Covington, wonder no more--he's been busy building a career in Nashville. His debut album, Bucky Covington, hit the Billboard country charts last year at #1, and his first single. "A Different World", reached the Top 5 in country radio airplay in summer 2007. Bucky's current single, "It's Good to Be Us", is headed up the charts even as we speak.

But wait, there's more! Not only is Bucky on a nationwide concert tour with Dierks Bentley and Luke Bryan, he's also just been announced as a nominee for the 100% fan-voted CMT Music Awards, where his video for "A Different World" is competing for the USA Weekend Breakthrough Video of the Year nod. (Bucky faces a familiar friendly rival in that category; Season 5's other country success story, Kellie Pickler, is also nominated.) The voting's open now, and the awards show airs on April 14th.

Katharine McPhee appeared on the Tyra Banks show this afternoon. Katharine looked gorgeous as usual. They talked about making the "sexy face" and her album cover. Apparently Katherine will also be appearing on an upcoming episode of Ugly Betty.

They also cover rumors surrounding Katharine, like Katharine having implants. The best part of the show was when Tyra asked if she could grab Katharines boobs...and she did.

Tyra and Katharine went to the same middle school. Katharine talked about her boyfriend Nick, who is 41. Tyra also asked Katharine about her struggle with bulimia. And they talked about the success of Katharine's new CD.

Katharine McPhee and Tyra actually seemed pretty comfortable together, they made a great team. It was a very entertaining interview. Two quirky cute girls talking and squeezing each other, what could be better?  read more »

Katharine McPhee's album came out a couple of weeks ago, and it debuted at number two! It sold 116,000 copies the first week, while the number one album, Norah Jones, sold 405,000 copies.  read more »

The tracklist for Taylor Hick's debut album has been released. Also, a couple of songs have leaked to the internet. The songs include "The Right Place," "The Runaround," and "Dream Myself Awake." The audio isn't really working for me right now, so I can't give a full review, but so far I really like what I hear! The Runaround sounds like it is a fun song!

You can now buy Ayla Brown's debut album, Forward, at online music stores like iTunes. Ayla Brown finished in the top 16 of American Idol 5, but did not make it to the top 12.  read more »

Chris Daughtry's album is expected to come out on November 21 and we are not getting more details on who he will be working with! One of the producers on the album will be Howard Benson, who has worked with people like The All American Rejects, My Chemical Romance and Hoobastank. He will also be collaborating with songwriters Rob Thomas, and people from Three Doors Down and Fuel.

Chris Duaghtry's first single will be hitting the radio at the end of September! It sounds like Chris will be working with a lot of great people, and put out an excellent album!!
