Do you still remember Crystal Bowersox? Well, she is supposedly my bet for this Season 9 American Idol Winner.
Crystal Bowersox Would Have Won American Idol Without Flawed Voting Methodology? was a top story in May/June. Here is the recap: Here is an announcement of a study that might interest some American Idol fans who feel that the wrong person won this season: During American Idol finale show, Lee Dewyze was selected as the winner of the competition for this season. In contrast, viewers participating in the national Idol Democracy study, which employs a "one person, one vote" system, reported that Crystal Bowersox, who received 66.2% of the votes, should have won competition last night by a large margin. Lee Dewyze received 33.8% of the votes in the Idol Democracy study.
The Idol Democracy study was conducted during May 25-26, by HCD Research using its mediacurves.com website, to obtain 3,901 American Idol viewers' perceptions of which contestant should be chosen as the winner on the May 26 results show. HCD Research conducted a series of studies among a nationally representative sample of Americans, which paralleled American Idol voting to determine the weekly winners based on a democratic, "one person, one vote" methodology.

The voters spoke, and Aaron Kelly is who got kicked off American Idol May 5. The theme for the week was Frank Sinatra, and also the contestants were coached by Harry Connick, Jr. Evidently, it wasn't enough and Kelly singing the Chairman of the Board bored the audience. We hope he gets a free plane ticket home, because he isn't old enough to apply for a payday loans no fax yet if he needs one.
Aaron Kelly booted out the door
Aaron Kelly did not win over voters with his version of "Fly Me to the Moon." Regardless of what spring is like on Jupiter and Mars, the American Idol results May 5 episode saw him booted. He sang it again at his send off. (Then again, Harry Connick Jr had taken over the stage, so he didn't have a chance to blast the audience with Slayer as a parting shot.)
Mike Lynche at the bottom once again
You have to give it to Mike Lynche for at least bringing consistency to American Idol Season 9. He consistently has been at the bottom for the last few weeks. The remaining American Idol Top 4 as of the American Idol results May 5 update are Crystal Bowersox, Casey James, Lee DeWyze, and Mike Lynche. Casey didn't thrill judges with his performance of "Blue Skies," and Mike didn't wow numerous fans with his cover of "The Way You Look Tonight." It is time Mike got drop kicked out the back door.
Lady Gaga was at American Idol as well
The other guest performer, besides Harry Connick Jr was Lady Gaga. She sang an abridged version of her song "Alejandro". Still, you will find only the American Idol Top 4 left, so that means we only have four weeks to go. So who's your pick for this year's American Idol?

Heard of the latest on American Idol’s one sweetheart?
Oh boy, that Crystal Bowersox is sure getting popular. She practically has American Idol in the bag, and the Midnight Train to Georgia video is going to be all over on YouTube and elsewhere. I do not know if I would spend lots of cash now on tickets to see her in concert yet – I'll wait to hear her actual albums – but she is certainly a talented singer and performer.
I don't think any of the guys are worth a darn this year, and I predict that the final will come down to her and Siobahn Magnus, who is probably the only other person with a real shot.
I'm truly happy for her success and I can't help but say grace and prayer for continuous success. I hope she will remain humble and feel bless for what she is having now.
We love you Crystal!

Andrew Masters should have been auditioning with David Cook. Similiar music abilities, Similiar voice and similiar way to make a song their own. That would have been a great show. Andrew has his leg up this year though at least for the men but there are a few woman that could kick him right back to being blue. It's going to be an interesting ride. Glad to see a little more talent this year!!
Just one more day and Ellen Degeneres will make her premier. Many critics are on their toes to see how she will do. She has to watch how she acts though. Her opinion could effect her money maker the Ellen show. She may gain a few new watchers or she may just lose a lot more. She has to take it seriously or she won't matter to the show. She will just be another Paula Abdul, someone who gives their opinion but you never take into count. Ellen will be speaking for the people who love to dance and love the music more. She has a huge weight on her shoulder. I guess 1 more day and we will see if Ellen Degeneres can make it happen.
