Blake Lewis Tattoo Removal

Blake Lewis gets a tattoo removed...ouch. Looks pretty painful. Watch the video to see Blake get lasered. Jordin Sparks calls him right in the middle of the procedure, kinda funny. Watch Blake Lewis squirm in pain.

No Sex Allowed

I don't know why they even let Milo Turk sing his song. He was too old, and he was just plain weird. I'm not sure what is the story with the song, but it sucked and he is a freak. There are way too many of these types so far this year. Why don't they weed out the weirdos and get to the people that actually have talent. I don't mind laughing at some people, but sometimes it goes on too long.

Let My People Go

This might have been the weirdest audition so far this season. Watch the video of James Lewis singing Let My People Go. Horrible, horrible, horrible. I can't believe this guy thaught he had a chance? I can't get past his tongue. Funny stuff.

Stalk Her

Paul Marturano scares the judges with his song to Paula and his wanting to stalk her. I actually thought this song was very clever and entertaining. The guy seems like a decent songwriter, I don't think he's as creepy as they made him out to be. Not as creepy as the no sex here guy.

You are My Brother

I think Renaldo Lapuz might be the next William Hung, or at least he should be I have to say, the song is still stuck in my head. And he really had personality and belted it out. Look how he got the judges going, Simon Actually smiled. I predict he'll make some money off of this song.

Here's the lyrics so you can sing along with the video.

I am your brother
Your best friend forever
Singing the songs
The music that you love
Brothers til the end of time
Together or not
You’re always in my heart
You hurt your feelings
And you will rain on mine
I love you brother

Brooke White

I really liked Brooke White last night. I think she had a decent voice and seemed like a very likable type of person. I just don't think her audition went that well. We'll see how Brooke does in the future. Brooke White has some songs up on her myspace site.

Star Wars Chick

Even tho she was a dork, and really didn't have any singing talent, she did have a point. My feeling is that American Idol is looking for a specific type of person to fit into their pop mold. Seems like if a pretty girl could sing even marginally they'd put her thru. But get a dorky, overweight person with a great voice...nope sorry, not what we're looking for.

Whatever happened to it being a singing competition? I know they're looking for someone to sell records, etc. But look at Aerosmith, ugliest band in the world, sold tons of records and everyone loves them. Why do pop stars have to fit into this beauty mold? If I buy a record, it's because I love the music, not because I like someone's image. It's getting a bit carried away if you ask me, just like with models, only the skinny ones survive. TV stars, yeah, they should be easy on the eyes. But come on American Idol, be fair about who you select for your "Singing Competition."

Kelly Clarkson - Natural Woman

This is a clip of Kelly Clarkson singing Natural Woman on Season 1 of American Idol. There is some great footage of Kelly as a contractor. It's fun to see her, before she was big.

Phil Stacey - The Change

This video features Phil Stacey singing live on American Idol Season 6. He does the song the Change by Garth Brooks. Phil made it into the top six. This is a great performance by Phil.

Taylor Hicks - Country Roads

This video features Taylor Hicks performing live on American Idol. He sings John Denver's Country Roads. I don't think it's one of Taylor's best performance. I think it's the song mostly that is weak. Taylor Hicks has sounded way more confident on other songs.

Blake Lewis - You Give Love a Bad Name

This video clip features Blake Lewis live on American Idol. Singing Jon Bon Jovi's You Give Love a Bad Name. He does the record intro the beatboxing during the song. Pretty good performance by Blake.

Kelly Clarkson - Never Again

This video features Kelly Clarkson singing Never Again live on American Idol. This performance was recorded during the American Idol Season 5 Finale.

American Idol Simpsons Clip

I found this funny little video clip which features the Simpsons as the judges and Simon Cowell as the singer. Pretty funny.
